Reminds me of the story about Sherman's troops receiving sniper fire as they passed Stone Mountain. A squad was ordered up to capture or kill the offending Confederate. The squad was repulsed with some loss. A platoon, then a company was dispatched, with the same result. Finally, Sherman, angry at the delay, sent up an entire regiment to root out the sniper. Near dark, the survivors began to straggle back down the mountain. Sherman, red in the face, and chompin' his cigar, stormed up to the Colonel commanding the Brigade. He fumed, "Colonel, what in tarnation is holding up this entire command from advancing? Can one Rebel sniper stop my entire army?!
