Like you I made my money in the oil industry, building oil rigs. I have no problem with the use of fossil fuels. My whole problem with this spill is the fact BP told the Feds what they were going to do -- drill a relief well by August. They is the extent of the action taken. The Feds went no future than that and the $20 Billion. Seems like we were hung out to dry for political motives and agendas while our environment is left to die.. I see no reason why Mississippi are any coastal sate should be subject to this sort of treatment from the Feds. I did see that finally a huge skimmer ship has been brought in, a tab bit late I must say, but it is here.

This whole thing was caused by human error and not the fact of deep water drilling.

Arizona is in the same predicament, yet nothing is being done, again this seems like politics at work. I saw on the news yesterday were a Federal judge had allowed Mexico to join the suit against Arizona. Are you kidding me??? What gives any judge this right???

I think residents of the Gulf States and Arizona should join together and sue Obama and every member of the Congress and Senate as individuals for treason and endangering the lives of US citizens due to their lack of action and political motives.
