One of the best things about being from the South is that you could watch the Andy Griffith Show and feel right at home. Even the band Confederate Railroad paid homage to old Andy in at least one of their songs. Sadly today we learn that ol' Andy has left us for a better place. One he sang of and spoke about often. Please feel free to fly your Rebel flag at half staff today in memory of Andy and the small part of seeing small town southern culture at its finest that he brought us.
