I just remembered a couple of things: The published version of William Frierson Fulton's book deleted the first two chapters of the book, probably because these chapters were only about family life on the plantation.

Also, another ancestor (my great grandfathers brother)named Samuel Morrow was reportedly a Brig. General in the CSA. I cannot find his name on any lists in the state of Alabama. I have looked on lists of confederate officers, confederate officers from the state of Alabama, and little known confederate officers without success. He spent his entire life, as far as I can tell, in the Somerville-Decatur, Alabama area where he practiced law. Any help would be appreciated in confirming this report.
