Searching for information about the life and military service of Capt. Andrew H. Ramsay, who served with Company E of the 1st South Carolina Infantry (Orr's Rifles). He was born in Georgia in 1832. His parents hailed from Pendleton and Pickens, S.C. Ramsay married Azalia Jarrett about 1850. She gave birth to ten children between 1852 and 1870. Ramay died in 1909.
