Missing S.C. reports

Could any of you knowlegable South Carolina researchers direct me to some diaries, memoirs or period newspaper accounts for some S.C. Regiments and batteries, listed below, during the fall of 1863?
The U.S. War Department published a list of missing regimental & battery reports from the battle of Chickamauga and from the "battles about Chattanooga," along with a plea for copies of such information "in the possession of veterans or their families." The majority of the missing South Carolina reports are units in Kershaw's brigade of Longstreet's corps.

J.B Polley, a member of Longstreet's corps who was wounded early at Chickamaga and removed from the field, wrote prolifically after the war; he summed up the situation with, "because of the loss of a leg at Chickamauga, Gen. Hood made no official report.... If Gen. Robertson or the regimental commanders... made reports, they have been lost" (Polley, Hood's Tx. Brigade, 200).

Listed as missing reports for Chickamauga are S.C. Inf. units: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th, 15th, and 24th; S.C. artillery: Culpepper's battery.

Listed as missing reports from the Chattanooga battles are S.C. inf.: 16th & 24th; S.C. Artillery: Ferguson's battery.

I will gladly help any of you wishing to get such reports into the Chick. Chatt. National Military Park files if you wish. While Joe Kershaw filed his report for Chickamauga, his regiments' services are not very strongly reported; a politically minded colonel in a nearby Alabama regiment made some less than complimentary remarks about S.C. on Snodgrass Hill (promoting his governorship, with state funds). I'd like to read the rest of the story. I also would appreciate being directed to similar information, including casualty lists, about Bratton's brigade in the night attack at Wauhatchie. Thank you. Joe
