Brian, I took the list of missing from an ancient U.S. Government publication in the Chattanooga Library (and saw it reproduced in another of the subsequent booklets published locally as early battlefield guides). I assumed the list was accurate as to the missing reports, but did not personally cross-check them with the ORs; sorry to have created busy work for you. I own one or two of Mr. Wycoff's books, but just now see his connection with the brigade. I'd also bought a book listing all the deaths of S.C. soldiers in the war, but somehow missed Richard Talley's death at Chickamauga, so thanks again, Joe.
