Thank you, Lee. The Texans in the division, like Joe B. Polley, all seem to share your opinion of Jenkins, who I blame for the subsequent loss of effectiveness for "Hood's division" for the rest of the war. The remarks I've read from Longstreet's staff (Sorrel & Gorre) are about the only few praises I've seen for Micah Jenkins, after the Seven Days.
