I am trying to track the records of 2nd Lt Smith, J.D. of the Gore's 13 reg, Tennessee Calvary. He enlisted 8/2/1862 in Cookeville Tennessee with Col. G.G. Dibrell. I am particularly interested in death records and widow pension. He would have been one of my Grandfathers.
