Cage's Ford Skirmish Historical Marker?

Does anybody know where Cage's Ford is or was and if there is a marker posted there? A guess is that it's due south of the city on the river. My ggGrandfather was one of the three wounded Union soldiers there in a skirmish with Col. Duke (under Gen. Morgan's command) Nov. 21, 1862. After a visit to Chickamauga (he was wounded and captured there as well) and Stones River, we swung by Cage's Bend and talked with a few friendly folks there but no dice, wrong area. Obviously it's name has been changed or is simply lost to history. Only one reference to a Cage's Ford is noted in the OR's but no details and the only other references to it are a lithograph in 'Battles and Leaders', a Gallatin newspaper blurb, his tombstone inscription and his Military and Pension papers. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
