Flags were captured at Fort Pillow. They were listed by the Provost Marshal of Forrest's Cavalry on April 21, 1864 and the list given to General Polk. The Provost Marshal mentioned one large and three smaller flags from Fort Pillow. Some or all of these could be from the 13th/14th TN USA. On May 27, 1864 Major General S. D. Lee of Meridian, Mississippi sent several flags to Richmond by Col. T J White. He described these as "four garrison flags and eight guidons captured at Fort Pillow." Surely some of these were from the 13th/14th. Unfortunately there were no descriptions.
