honorable discharge--conscript act

Hi everyone,
I have an ancestor (my great great great grandfather John W. Darwin, who served in the 25th Infantry, C.S.A) who served a little over one year (was present the entire time according to service record) and then was given a certificate of discharge. He was discharged under the conscript act of 1862 because he was under the age of 18. I just found the certificate on microfilm today and am very excited to actually have a copy of the certificate! Would you consider this discharge to be an honorable one? For my purposes, it has to be an honorable discharge.
Thanks so much for your advice! :)
Holly
