My gggrandfather served with company H 29th Texas Cavalry until being badly wounded at Elk Creek (Honey Springs).Not much more is known about him. I would love to find out more about him and his unit if someone would point me in the right direction. I live in Montana so I am hindered by distance and I'm not very good with the computer.
