Finding Captain Willke's company

I am researching a diary that I believe belonged to an Austin resident named J. Steussy. It makes reference to his unamed company (or perhaps artillery battery) assembling at the Capitol in October 1861 on their way to Brownsville. The Captain, later Major, was named Willke, and Steussy was the Orderly Sergeant. Lieutenants mentioned were Herzog (later promoted to Captain) and Franklin. I would appreciate any help nailing down the exact unit. I've found one unit named Willke's Light Artillery or the Austin Light Artillery but I'm not sure if this is correct. Thanks!
