2nd Texas Partisan Rangers vs 2 Partisan Rangers

Hello friends. Need your input! In following through my great grandfather William Henry Fleming/Flemming's service in the civil war, I came across something I need help clarifying. I have two separate documents for William in the 34th Cavalry of Texas. One shows that W.H. Flemming (2 m's) appears on a list of officers elected, and those relieved at the re-organization of Colonel Alexander's Regiment, June 27, 1862 under G.O. (not given) of date June 26, 1862. This document is dated at Hdquarters, Dept. Ind. Ter., Fort McCulloch, June 30, 1862. It shows William as Capt, Co. K, Alexander's Regiment. Unfortunately, the actual date of the document is illegible. The remarks show that E.B. Titus was elected in place of W.H. Flemming (probably not surprising, since he was only 17 years old). At the bottom it shows the "34th Regiment Texas Cavalry (aka 2nd Regiment Texas Partisan Rangers and as Alexander's Regiment Texas Cavalry) was organized April 17, 1862, and re-organized June 27, 1862". The second document merely shows "Flemming, W.H." Captain, Co. K, 34 Texas Cavalry and in parenthesis (Alexander's Regiment. 2 Partisan Rangers). Now then: On the TxGenWeb site, Kauffman County, there is a brief history of the 2nd Texas Partisan Rangers by Justin Sanders. It says the Second Texas Partisan Rangers was organized March 1863 at Fort WASHITA under Colonel B. Warren Stone of Dallas. It shows Isum Chisum as the Lt Colonel and later as its colonel, and goes on to tell where it was from the period of organization to when it was disbanded in Houston in May 1865. Is this the same 2nd Partisan Ranger group?? If the 34th Texas Cavalry is also known as the 2nd Regiment Texas Partisan Rangers and Alexander's Regiment which was reorganized into the 34th Texas Cavalry (?) in 1862, how can it be in different places during these periods. Is the 2nd Regiment Texas Partisan Rangers William was in different from the 2nd Texas Partisan Rangers from Kauffman County? William was also With Waller's Division, Company G, of Tom Green's Brigade as shown in a 1902 Confederate Reunion photo. I cannot reconcile the dates and units among them all. Can you help? Thanks so much for your thoughts and input.
