Joe, I checked on the known soldiers buried in the Confederate Cemetery in Knoxville and he's not listed. That does not necessarily mean he's not buried somewhere in this area. There were several hospitals here from time to time and if a soldier happen to die, they were usually buried somewhere on the grounds, with no records to speak of. I'd guess theres hundreds of graves we'll never find. Sorry I could not be of more help. Bob
