Thanks Bob, Your are exactly right. I remember when the city of Houston built a new Fire Dept Headquarters on the sight of the old Jeff Davis Hospital in Houston Texas,, they dug up remains of Confederate soldiers who were buried there. They placed a small fence and marker there..

.I wonder if any kind of death record was completed on those who died in Confederate hospitals . Surely there must be a death record somewhere.

PS. Visiting "Col.Bubbies Army Surplus Store" in Galveston Texas, last week I noticed they had Confederate short & long jackets and some Kepi caps in stock. for anyone interested
