I've been digging through my Keese family papers, and have discovered that, according to research done by a 'professional' genealogist in the mid-1960s, 3 other children of George Washington Keese (1800-1870) married into the Hardeman family:
Sarah A. Keese (1839- ) married William Constantine Hardeman; Louella Perkins Keese (1850- ) married Glen Owen Hardeman; and Blanche Allen Keese (1857- ) married Jerome Bonaparte Robinson Hardeman.
I don't have specific sources for these marriage records, but I'd bet they are from Caldwell or Guadalupe Co., Texas courthouse records since this list was compiled long before the Internet made it possible for lazy 'family tree populators' to pile up thousands of names in their tree by copying other people's trees.

It seems certain that the Keese and Hardeman families were neighbors, living along the San Marcos River on the Caldwell-Guadalupe Co. line.

I only have one Keese male confirmed in the Army during the CW. John A. Keese enlisted in the Frontier Regiment at Camp Dix near Uvalde in 1862 and served for one year. He listed his home as Concrete, Texas, which is in Guadalupe Co.
