Thanks again Mike, I will try that also. I just received the book Texas Ranger Service Records 1847 - 1900 It including the regular Texas Rangers A-C and also includes all the frontier battalions, companies, minute men, and commanding officers. I found a few privates for a John Clark. One could be him and he rejoined as a captain. This may be the same info but I will certainly try searching anyway. I have nothing to lose but time and that is better then money lol. Thanks!
