One of my CSA grandfathers, Dr. Benjamin Tecumseh Crumley's wife, Lula T. Crumley proved her Confederate Pension (#30846) from this Affidavit of Witness as follows: "I Dr. C.W. Hudson well know that the said Dr. B.T. Crumley was in the Confederate service for I was with him at the battles of Mansfield and at Pleasant Hill. I was with him at the hospital at Mansfield. He was first assistant surgeon and I was second assistant surgeon. " March 1,1915. Travis County. Texas.

Who was this Dr. C.W. Hudson? His unit, service record, full name, where he lived just anything etc. I'm stumped. Any info greatly appreciated. Thank you
