I am trying to find out any information I can on the 16th Virginia Cavalry. I just found out a few days ago through genealogy research that I am a direct descendant of a soldier that was in this unit. The problem I am having is that when I do searches on the web I find very little about the unit, its members, and their activities during the war. Any assistance that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
