Thanks for the information, it is rgeatly appreciated. I am looking for information on Aaron H. Bailey from present day West Virginia. I just found out 3 days ago that he is my Great-Great-Great Grandfather. I have known for some years that I was a direct descendant of a Union Cav soldier, but I only knew back 3 generations on the Bailey portion of my family from West VA. Thus, it was with great surprise when a family member forwarded me census records and family tree documents going back 4 more generations, with the CSA soldier listed. For the last 3 days I have tried to gather as much information as I can on him and his unit, but I have not found much. Any additional assistance you could render would be most appreciated.
