I thank you for your assistance. Patrick and Peyton in the 16th Cav are Aaron's brothers. It is odd that there is no mention of Aaron. According to the notes I have all 3 of them served in the same unit in the war, the unit listed in the family documents is such: 16th Va Cavalry Regt. Here is an excerpt from one of the documents:

Confederate Roster Card #15 shows Aaron as Pvt. Aaron Bailey. Served in Companies F & I, 16th Virginia Cavalry Regiment. Vol 11, Pg 2. His brothers Patrick & Peyton are listed as having served in Company I, 16th Virginia Cavalry Regiment as well. All 3 boys were from Tazewell, Va.

The documents go on to show census records pre-war and post war, and so forth. So, this is where I am stuck at this point. Any assistance you could render would be most appreciated. Thanks much!
