Re: byrd houser seay
In Response To: byrd houser seay ()

B H Seay was a first cousin to my ggggranfather James F Seay. James was in the 24th VA. Infantry, Co. H(Henry Guards)
Byrd also was called Bird. I had a member of the Oakley family that once had a picture of Byrd sitting on his horse in his CSA uniform, and was told by the same person that he had a watch which was to have been left to my Oakley cousins father. These two items were not ever located, however, I was able to copy some old photos that were in the Oakley family possessions. Several of the pics appear to have been possibly Byrd because of something that looks like some type of military badge. Possibly a CSA reunion ribbon/badge of honor??????
I am attaching them to this message. I
welcome any inquiries or info. Donna
