Tom,
I looked back through some old emails and found the correspondence that I received regarding your ancestor. I copied and pasted it below.

"This soldier is confirmed at Oakwood and is listed as Francis M Kinard per his service record he was buried on July 12 1862. The drawback is that his wooden grave marker was missing when the register of graves was made and therefore I do not know his burial location but I am still working some documents so perhaps in the future I can find it.

For now I can say by the burial date he would be in Section C Row M somewhere between markers 50 and 70. Can you find out if there are any photos of this man?"
