That will be close as Ft Strother was very close to Ten Islands on the west side of the Coosa, and this site is on the East side of the River. I was looking into this fort and the furnace site did not mean much to me at that time. I have just recently got interested in the CW while trying to trace my family back to the CW era. Now I wish I had documented this furnace site. I thought I had made some photos while there but I have not been able to locate any.
