I just drove up there yesterday and was pleased to see the site marked as such and cleaned up. On the previous visits the furnace was over grown with vines and weeds and was barely visible from the road, even though it's only 30 feet or so from the road.
For anyone that's interested it's located at the intersection of Spring St and Janney. Sping turns off of 77 just north of Neely Henry Dam intersection.
