On May 28, 1863 at Florence the 53rd Alabama opposed Cornyn's force, resulting in one killed, Maj. Thomas Farewell Jenkins, Capt. Leonard Locke, and a couple of others captured. I don't have all the names in front of me right now, but can give them to you if you need it.....Bob
