Alan, I sent some info to you today on actions involving the 53rd in north Alabama, but neglected to send the actions at Florence on May 28, 1863. I'll get that to you. The 53rd had a major and captain captured, and some other loses, if I recall correctly. I'll try to get that to you tomorrow. They engaged Cornyn..... Bob
