I've reviewed some of these and here are the ones which are correct as cited, with an additional detail or two:
Co. "A"
1st Lt. George E. England, killed during the last charge,
1st Lt. James G. Haden.
Co. "D"
2nd Lt. James E. Banks, died of measles.
2nd Lt. Robert A. Green.
Co. "E"
1st Lt. William C. Gibson
2nd Lt. A. J. Callahan
2nd Lt. James A. Heflin
Co. "K"
2nd Lt. John H. Beard, wounded July 22, 1864.
Additions:
Co. "B"
Lt. J. L. Stinson, died Dec. 18, 1861.
Co. "C"
Lt. Henry B. Scofield, killed Dec. 31, 1862
Co. "G"
Lt. William H. Moore, killed July 28, 1864
Deletions:
Co. "C"
--- Hankins. Note mentions this man's election to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Lt. Scofield, 12-31-62. It appears the name should be "Hawkins", and that he was a 1st Sergt. of this company.
Corrections:
Co. "F"
2nd Lt. George T. Johnson survived the war and was paroled at Selma AL on May 29, 1865.
(Possibly) should be
Co. "D"
F. M. Johnson. This is the only Johnson on roll for this company. The Federal record provides no first name for the man who died on Dec. 19, 1864. Two death entries were filed under George T. Johnson of Co. "F"; one under F. M. Johnson, which may be correct. He is buried in Nashville City Cemetery.
The record of Lt. A. J. Callahan includes a burial note by wardmaster W. C. Harrison:
"Buried at the soldier graveyard, attired in his best suit in a smooth plain pine coffin. He was attended there by two elderly ladies & one young lady eighteen officers & myself. The ladies attached flowers to his coffin & a wreath of flowers placed on his grave by the fair hand of the young lady. I think I can truthfully say his remains were more decently enterred than many who lay beside him."
