I figured when I posted "Mobile Cadets" I'd hear from you, Homer. And as always, Alan, what a "fountain" of valuable information you are.

Knowing that "divorce" was a rarity and usually a social stigma in the 19th century, I was curious as to why Constance Camilla Rondeau and John Soto, Sr. divorced? Undoubtedly, we can't know the whole story; however, John Soto, Jr.'s membership in the "Mobile Cadets" leads me to believe that Camilla Rondeau's second husband, Adolph Renaud was "a man of means".

Sure wish some of it would've "trickled" down to my wife.
