Hello Van, I am doing short bio's for all of the soldiers who died at the Camp Chase prison and have tombstones. I will be posting them at SCV Ohio Camp Chase website. You just happen to post your querry after I had finished the rough draft of William Henry Tolar. Thx for letting me know that his family name was spelled as Tolar. That was my guess and now you have confirmed it. Know that flowers and flags are placed at his grave site twice and year by both the SCV and the Hill-Top Society. This past year Holly wreath's were also placed during the holiday season. Also keep in mind that the research at Camp Chase insofar as those bio's are going to be constantly updated as more research becomes available. Thanks to recent information found at the National Archives in DC we will be able to determine the exact date of death for W.H. Tolar, prior to this we were forced to go by monthly hosptial reports. Now we have daily. If you found information in the rough draft for Tolar or something you would like to add now would be the time to mention it.
