George, I did find a John Harrell in Co. I 22nd AL Inf. Could be him. I'm going to pull his CSR and see if there's anything that I can connect to John Harlow. I know, from past experience, the folks who compiled these records made a spelling error or two. I don't remember seeing this name in past research of the regiment, but this is a lead, so here goes.
