36th ALA co I records

Hello,
has anyone else noticed that soldiers who the Archives have listed in the 36th, many of which have "no service record can be found"? we have several in Greene County MS who are listed on the MS CONF Graves Registry as 36th AL, and 32nd ALa who no service record can be found. This can been seen here, on a registry we are making for Greene County MS CSA soldiers

http://personalpages.tds.net/~alvinroberts/Greene%20County%20Mississippi%20Confederate%20Graves%28small%29.htm

Now the 36th AL co I is made up almost entirally of Wayne County MS men. Who signed up in Waynesboro, MS. Isnt that odd for a Bama Regiment to enlist men in MS before they leave for battle? I mean if the men traveled from Waynesboro, to say Chatom in ALa to enlist it would make sense. But vise versa???? 2 of the soldiers we found had 56th ALA Cav on there stones, not 36th ALA INF.

We just found a tombstone in the swamp near Stateline MS not far from the Bama line. It had AG BROWN on it who died in the CS army. Now no doubt it is a private stone. it had his Death Year as july 1862. After much research we find AG Browns son in Washington County AL. The Archives list AG Brown as being a Wayne County MS resident, in the 36th ALA Co I, whats problem u ask? he is now on a growing list of vets here, who no service cards can be found. What is the deal with the BAMA records of the 36th and 32nd Alabama Infantry, and 56h ALA CAV.
