At Fold3 you will find the records of the 36th Alabama Infantry, surnames A-B under the, 35th Infantry whose roll 362 contains surnames A-F, roll 363 contains the 36th Infantry A-B

As for Companies E & I, there are no muster roll on record as recorded in the Unit Information section, above.

Jonathan Ball, Private, Company I, 36th Alabama Infantry, enlisted August 8, 1862 in Mobile by Capt. Calvert for the war, attached to General Hospital Ross, Mobile, Ala. as Nurse, February 13, 1863, left March 25, 1863, receipted for an issue of clothing during the 2nd Quarter, 1864 signing with an 'X', his mark, no further records
