Cornelius Marion Hutton. Appointed Chaplain November 17, 1862, to rank October 14, 1862; serving since September 13, 1862. Captured near Tullahoma, Tennessee, July 11, 1863; exchanged [October] 1863. Submitted resignation, citing physical disability, February 14, 1865.

Greene County AL. Resident of Pleasant Ridge.

Ordained Minister, Presbyterian Church, 1860.

Rev Hutton moved to Texas about 1885. The Alabama state archives had not been established yet.
