Hello. Thought I would tell you that I have used your information to try and find some of my kin.
It turns out that a William Bain/Bayne was in Pulaski
County Arkansas( the part which later ended up Lonoke County) in 1870.
My friend is going to the History Commission in Little Rock next week to see what she can find. He is listed with a James and a Walter Bain/Bayne, in different households but same area.
