Hello. I actually did check that site and I was quite impressed.
I have come across the name of Judson Bayne before and I would almost think that Chesterfield Bayne would be a connection simply because of that name sounds like to me it could have come from Virginia.
I did check both the Union and Confederate side.
These Bayne men would have stood over 6 feet tall with huge hands and feet as well as being somewhat rugged. In other words they would have been tough enough to survive having descended from people who had sailed out of Maryland during the 1600's. I base that thought on photos of my great grandfather and his sons.
