That is just terrible and shameful.
You and I both know that the descendants of these CSA men have to be tax paying folks just as much as if their ancestors had been Union.
I feel for sure my ancestor Fielding Price is there.
I know for a fact that within my own family at least nine men have been in the service of the United States during war time since WWII. All were decorated and some were just plain everyday hero types.
Just like my mama said when she saw Shiloh and said," just look at how they treated our boys!"
Can anyone besides me see the slap in the face this situation is?
I always heard the squeaky wheel got oiled.
I think it is about time we wrote those elected Arkansas officals complaining.
