I fully agree, they should be. But as long as there is a political gain to be made for politicians and government servants in the open disrespect of our forefathers graves, just complaining will do no good.
We well know that disrespect for our southern heritage has been used as a political tool for the last 40 years, or better, to maintain the political support of a certain peoples. Those who use such tools will not hear our complains.
We have tried complaining to get the National Cemetery to maintain those graves. It hasn't worked because not enough complains have reached their ears to make us a political force. And they do not fear the loss of their jobs becuase of our little complains.
You know how government works they hear the LOUDEST squeeks. They don't necessarily hear ALL the squeeks.
