Doyle, if you don't mind, where did the Garland info come from? I knew that they were on there way to Virginia when they were stopped and sent to the Post, but first I heard of them going to Vicksburg.
BTW, Garland was truly a hard luck case. Imagine, you can be captured at the Post in January, or six months later be captured at Vicksburg!
