Oh that is fully okay, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something somewhere since Crawford, who had an inf battalion organized there, and later commanded a "1st" (10th TM) Ark Cav wasn't involved in all that mix. I had thought Fagan started the organization and was promoted almost immediately to BG, and Monroe became the first regimetnal commander of the 1st (due to the connection with the 1st ARk Inf) aka 6th Trans Miss Cav. You know that same thing happened with Hawthorne/Cocke's regiment. It was the 6th Trans Miss INf but due to Hawthorne's previous association with the 6th Ark INf, was called 6th Ark Inf many times as well. THen add to it the designation as the 39th ARK INF, and it became really confusing. I just wanted to make sure I had my information correct on the organization of all of these 1st Ark cavalry units.

Thanks.
