I have an ancestor that enlisted in this company on 14 Jun 1862 in Little Rock, and he died some time in August. I am trying to find out if he died in battle, as the results of an accident or of some unknown illness. I know measles were rampant that spring, but all the research I have been able to find has not shown an epidemic that fall.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
