I believe the correct words that he used “it would appear” that Baldwin’s Brigade was supplied by the QM of Walker’s Division. which, changes the meaning of your quote. What happened to the other flags of this pattern and why only the 46th received it if the other regiments did not?

(I have been through Howie's books of his scale drawings but it has been several years but I bet that I would find this flag located with the rest of his Charleston Depot drawings just the same.)

I’ll would take that bet but I have already mentioned that he listed it as separate pattern, as you know Howard file his flags by pattern and it is not filed with his Department of South Carolina, Georgia & Florida file.

(So why are you the only one here who thinks it is not a CD flag?)

I have not said that it is or isn’t. You made claim that it was and I just wanted to know your source. If what you type here is it, then we have nothing new.

I’m only asking about the 46th Mississippi, the additional information is irrelevant to the question. However, all of the ANV pattern flags used by some of the western troops, if I follow your logic, then those flag were manufactured in Richmond.
