Thanks for your notes, Greg and Tom. I'm going to try and contact Randy Burbage and see if he can email me an image. If so, I'll post a link on this site. I'll also see if he can get me the locations for all five of the other known Macon flags.

You may or may not be right about whether the flag in question flew during the Battle of Franklin; I was only able to go on what I heard at the SCV meeting last week.
