I was slated to be one of the historical advisors on that film... We had already researched and worked up all the accurate details of flags that the respective units in question would have... Also one of my pet-peeves is inaccurate flags used in films... However at the last moment we were shoved aside for others in production/props brought in from out of state... so have no clue what they ended up with... We did do some other misc props for the film... Then when noted they were being installed by others totally backwards from what they are suspose to be... and obviously had absolutely little to no idea of and misdirection of historical accuracy... also they declined to listen to any further advise.. I quickly backed up from it all... Dont know if any of it was corrected prior to filming or not...
