Yes, I used the quote from Baumgartner, but I may have also found it somewhere else. I donated most of my research notes for all of my Civil War books I have written to the local historical society to clear space for my newer books I am now researching (a book on Second Winchester in particular). I am looking to see if I can find the source of the flag quote.
