I was interested if anyone knew anything about an incident that happened during the first week of June, 1863 at the mouth of Deep run at Fredericksburg to a Fl outfit? I have an original source that says a Fl regiment was captured when the Yankee army executed a crossing with artillery support in a raid using boats. This apparently resulted in the capture of an entire regiment if I read my source correctly.
