Now I have more questions... there is a distinct difference in the Confederate cross on W.Y.'s head stone and that of the one that on Mary's. Also I took more pictures today of different headstones, and there is a big difference in the one on W.Y.'s and some of the others.. I have a call in to a person that is in charge of the Liberty Hill Masonic Cemetery to find out when a Confederate stone was placed there, and maybe figure out why there is such a difference. Also were the smaller stones that are usually placed as a foot stone regulated by the Federal government? Was there a contract put out for bid? When did they start being used? Are they furnished by the Federal Gov.?
