All of the Ownbey guys in the 6th Georgia Cavalry are my ancestors. John Marion Ownbey is my Great,Great Grandfather. He was in Co.B. James Wilson,my Great,Great,Great Grandfather served in Co.I. I have plenty of info on the 6th Ga. Cav. if anyone is interested. I am also looking for photographs of members of this regiment. I perfer photos of them in uniform but any and all will be appreciated.
